Back in Action 2025 review
Back in Action is an adequately serviceable action-comedy that doesn’t really do anything new or exciting. The plot is predictable, the action sequences are fine but not particularly memorable, and the jokes are hit-or-miss. However, the film is elevated by the charming performances of Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, who have great chemistry together.
The supporting cast is also solid, with Andrew Scott making the most of his limited screen time as a quirky villain. The film’s biggest weakness is its script, which is full of clichés and lacks any real surprises.
Overall, Back in Action is not such a bad way to pass a couple of hours if you seek some form of light entertainment. The movie is not all that great, but it’s surely not terrible either.
